Fall 2025

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

8 weeks in the water.

Experience our 8-week Spring season, an after-school program designed to deepen children's connection with the ocean through interactive play. Think of it as a blend of physical education and environmental science, where kids engage in ocean activities, learn about marine ecosystems, and build friendships - all without the homework.

  • Registration OPEN NOW!

  • Season Dates: September 29th - November 21

  • Grades 1-8

  • Campus Point and Leadbetter

  • Once a week for 8 weeks

  • Monday - Thursday 3:30-5:30pm

  • Fridays 10am-12pm.

Activities:

All skill levels are welcome - must be able to swim.

We are able to welcome kids of all skills because of our exceptional facilitators. Our coaches all have up-to-date First Aid/CPR training and demonstrated water safety skills through life guard /emergency response training.

Waitlist & Scholarships

To ensure fairness and accessibility, everyone is initially placed on our waitlist.

Sea League uses a weighted lottery system for program registration. This system considers various factors, including economic need and previous participation to allocate spots equitably.

You may sign up for multiple sessions but participants will only be admitted to one program per season (only one day per week).

Pricing

We use a sliding scale for our registration cost to assure that price is not a barrier of entry. To see how you may qualify for a scholarship, please click register below and create a user login.

 Fall Program FAQs

  • Our weighted lottery system aims to provide fair access to Sea League programs while prioritizing certain groups to ensure a diverse and inclusive environment. Here's how it works:

    1. Create or Log In to Your Account: Begin by logging into your existing account or creating a new one on our registration portal.

    2. Select and Prioritize Sessions: Choose the Sea League sessions you wish to attend and rank them by priority. You can list multiple sessions to increase your chances of selection.

    3. Weighted Criteria: Our lottery system gives additional weight to applicants based on several criteria, including but not limited to:

      • Returning participants

      • Residents of underrepresented or underserved communities

      • Families who have not had prior opportunities to participate

    4. Notification: One month before the season starts, our registrar will contact you via email. You will either receive a confirmation of your admission into a session or a notice if you were not admitted this season.

    5. Waitlist and Future Opportunities: If not admitted, you may be placed on a waitlist and will be notified if a spot becomes available. Additionally, not being admitted this season may increase your chances in future lotteries due to the weighted system.

For any questions or assistance, please reach out to us at info@thesealeague.org.

  • Safety is our utmost priority. We guarantee best water safety practices with certified lifeguards and experienced instructors leading our activities. We also ensure a low ratio of participants to instructors for personalized attention and care.

  • While there are no strict prerequisites, we recommend basic swimming skills for our water-based activities. Don’t know how to swim, no problem - join us for the Big Blue Bridge to learn how to swim.
